I run dual 7900GTs, and I get freezes sometimes also, but I think it is more attributed to the client most of the time. They are few and far between. Try updating to the driver on nvidia's site, ever since I did that, smooth as silk.

It is possible the longer freezes, which might be 30 seconds or so, are different from this, but there's obviously some sort of conflict between the Audigy and my nVidia graphics card.

The exact same hardware worked perfectly for me up until about two weeks ago, when I updated the nVidia driver because the old one didn't support anti-aliasing in GW.

Ok, I will when I get home. I know for certain however I'm using the Creative drivers released in Jan 2006. Do you have EAX enabled in GW? I used to get popping before I enabled EAX in GW and that was after the NF update, after they added that option. I use an ATI graphics card rather than Nvidia so that might account for the difference.

It's the same driver as what you have loaded.
