hi

after a thunderstorm the dat of guildwars seems to be corrupted

all works fine, guildwars can start itself, but it cann't find the internet connection, so i cann't login and play.

this is the second time that after a thunderstorm this happens

the first time i had to download the all gw files, about 8 hours

is there any solution to resolve this problem?

it's impossible that after any thunderstorm the only application that f*cked up is guild wars.

What makes you think that gw.dat is corrupted? Do you get any error messages when starting up Guild Wars?

Also, have you given Guild Wars permission to access the interweb in whatever firewall you're using?

yes, i am sure because now i have redownloaded guild wars, makes him do a new gw.dat file.

with the old gw.dat guildwars doesn't connect, with the new one it does. they are both in the same folder now, just changed the name for this test: incredible

i have tried also a -repair, but the application doesn't repair anything.

firewall is configured well.
