Default Random crashes with continous beep sound

Thank you very much for your attention. Please help me out! When i first installed Guild Wars, it runned smoothly and without any crashes, then, after 2 weeks playing, the game started crashing randomly (everything stops, the screen won't move, it just stays on the part of the game before the crash, just like a picture; my mouse won't move, the keyboard won't function, the only way out of this would be reseting the PC using the reset button). Also, when the game crashes, i hear a annoying beep sound comming from my speakers, its like a continuous beep.

This crashes only appear on Guild Wars, and no matter what graphics options i put, no matter what screen resolution i put, these crashes keep appearing.

I've even tried to play the game on the lowest resolution, and on the lowest graphic options, but it still crashes. I've followed the crash answer on plaync support, but it didn't work at all. I have the latest graphic driver installed (my graphics card is a GeForce 6800 GT ForceWare 91.47) and i've installed the directx v9.0c from the cd that came with the Factions expansion box (the guild wars original i've bought from the internet and downloaded a good part of it).

Its not a heat problem, because i recently got a profissional to clean my pc fans and put some extra fans on my pc.

Please, help me with this situation, because it gets impossible to play with others on GW, and i don't like at all the idea of loosing this big investiment on both Guild Wars and Factions games.

Sorry about this long post, but here are some of my system informations:

Till you said you got a "professional" to clean/add fans(easy enough to do yourself, will save you some money), I thought it was a heat problem. Since you say its not, Id look in the manual for you motherboard(what make/model is it?) for a list of "error sounds", or "audio warnings", or something similar, that will tell you what the long beep means (if it is a BIOS sound, as it seems to be). All I can tell you is to ask the "pro" to reseat your memory, which is just removing and replacing memory in slots.

Do you still get the "beeping" sound after you reboot your Pc or while rebooting ... or dose it just happen as the game crashes ?

Try memtest86: http://www.memtest86.com/
Maybe your ram is faulty.

Okay, i think i've found a solution, so to all of you who might experience similar crashes just like i did, try updating your sound driver, i did that and now, at least for the four hours playing, i didn't get any crash at all!!!

Thank you all for your attention on this matter!!!
