I was surprised to see that shadows are presenting an unnatural Blueish/Greenish reflection of the character, instead of an actual black shadow.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I see the shodows as I have always seen them. They are just grey.

Things i have discovered are the following:

In this image this Red Dyed person wasnt highlighted.(They get highlighted when you hover the mouse pointer over their character)

In this one, he was highlighted

If you look closelly you can see that some colors, especially the ones on his cape, are reversed (they are shown reversed on the shadow)
And on the highlighted one, the shadow becomes darker, but a reflection of the cape is still seen(even though in reversed colors), which is odd.

Yes offcourse, I was thinking exactly on posting it, but I had to make sure if this was a general problem or just me.

I notice that the drivers you're running are over 2 years old. I'd suggest you download and try a more up to date version. The latest are here :-

I've just looked and they support your FX5700LE card.

Download them and place a shortcut on your desktop. Remove your present drivers, then boot to safe mode and install the new drivers. Reboot normally, apply your normal settings and then try GW again.

First let me thank you for your support.

I just finished downloading the Drivers.
One question, instead of uninstalling the old drivers, rebooting, and installing these new ones, cant i imediatelly proceed with the setup of the new drivers without uninstalling the old ones?
Will the new ones overwrite the old ones? Or will they conflict?

If they do conflict and i have to follow the method of uninstalling, rebooting, installing, could you direct me to where and what exactly do i do in order to achieve this ( rebooting in safe mode, removing drivers ) , i have a slight idea of how, but i absolutelly always need to make sure before screwing my computer up.

That's the £1,000,000 question.

Sometimes, I've just gone ahead myself and overwritten the existing drivers, mainly 'cause i'm a lazy sod, and never had a problem and sometimes I've had nothing but problems when doing it.

Nowadays, I swear by deleting the existing first before installing the new in safe mode. It's just quicker in the long run as you don't have to deal with conflicts if they arise.

Ok.

Download the new drivers and then place a link to them on your desktop.

Go into your add/remove panel and remove the drivers from there. Making sure to only click on video drivers and not motherboard drivers if you have a nForce board.

Once they are removed, reboot. Hold down DEL or whatever key you need to when booting (it maybe F8) to get a menu. Select "Boot to Safe Mode" and hit hit enter.

Now you should be looking at a god awful 600x480 display. Locate the desktop shortcut to your new drivers and double click. Follow the onscreen instructions to install the new drivers. Once done Windows will ask you to reboot, say yes and boot as normal. Set your resolution back to your preference and continue.

oh my oh my

you should always remove your oldrivers to prevent them from interfering whith the old files that still might be left from the old driver, video driver manufactures allso say you should remove the old ones

and if you are realy picky you are suppose to un install them then use a program called drive cleaner

Why chance it's not exacly that hard to uninstall the old ones

hmm, i've never had any problems with drivers. sometimes i just double click the new driver setup and let it run. sometimes i go to device manager and let it update it.

i've always been under the impression that the new driver installation automatically removes the old driver before installing the new one.

I thought so too at start, but aparently they might conflict and give future problems, therefore its better to play safe.
