So this started last night. My brother said that there was a download and it took a while. So when he left i felt like playing. I open gw and connect to areanet and notice the background is now the nightfall thing. I logged in. And it stayed here for about 15 min saying "connecting". and then it finally got to the character screen. I went to choose my Ranger. It also said "connecting" for 40+ min. After that i just turned it off and went to bed. And im trying to make a PvP char now and it is doing the same thing.

Any way to fix this?

Also before this i could log in and get my character loaded fast and easily without and problems. Just started last night

Wow I thought I was the only one with this problem guess not

and yes its very very annoying one it was working fine before the update lol

well the only thing I can say to help you on this matter is to do what I do every time I log on. After you get to your character screen click on what ever character you would like to play. If the "connecting" thing pops up click cancle. And then go to the A-net store once that is loaded up (shouldnt take long) then click exit store botton. then click on the character you wish to play it should load up this time liek it has in the past fast and easy.

hope this helps you until it gets fixed. This is what I have to do every time I log in or change characters

ps...doesnt do it to me any more works like normal now.

at password screen dont log in on the top right hand of the screen you will see a lighting bolt just wait untill its finished streaming in the rest of files. just go watch T.v for a little bit or do other things like reading threads on guru

after it done every thing should work fine. good luck
