Default Acer 1046 good enough to play?

Hi everyone!

My roomate and myself want to play Guild Wars.
But we are not sure it will be ok on my roomate's laptop.

The spec :
Intel Pentium 4 2.5 GHz
RAM 512 Mo
ATI Mobility Radeon - AGP 4x - DDR SDRAM - 32 Mo

I read the minimal config for the game and it's OK.
But, is there anyone with "same" computer who can say if it's OK or no ?

Thank you

Dalf

it will play, but just barely. the graphics card probably can't support the level of detail that GW puts out. you'll be able to run it at minimum detail, probably.

anyways, playing GW on a laptop is generally not a good idea, since laptops tend to overheat quickly.

It will play, but do not try to turn on Anti-Aliasing or high level graphics.

The video on-board is decent, but it uses system RAM, which is always slower then video RAM (this is common on 90% of laptops). And you may run into some heat problems, so investing $20 into a cooling pad would be a good idea.

But the laptop is capable of playing the game itself just fine.
