Well clearly it isn't safe against this stuff.

What you need to do, providing that you're innocent of all botting and otherwise charges is send them an email explaining exactly what happened. Make it nice and formal and neat. Use capital letters, commas, and punctuation correctly. Tell them that you can't access your account, that your password has been changed and that all in all your computer has been hacked. Ask them for help. Tell them that you have the CD key and provide them with it. Thank them for their help and hope for a response.

Good luck.

Oh yeah and run the virus scan over and over. And over. And then run some anti spyware. Over and over.

Exactly, heres a short version of what he should have said:

"I have come by these means to inform the Support team that my acount has been infiltrated without my authorization.
Therefore, I ask of you, you superior and amazing human beings, to investigate and take into consideration the unfairness that was dealt to me.
Please aid me in these times of need, oh masterfull ones."

Heres what he actually probably said:

"My f*ckin acount was f*ckin stolen!I didunt do nothing not my fault, wtf is happening GRRR GRGRR grrrr...gimme my game back or Ill bomb your head quarters you fooles!"

Afcourse i understand u must be nice to someone if you want there respect also.

What i said was Please, Id like you to delete my account so that the hacker would not use it again.
Also that if you cant delete my account in a way i can use my cd key it is not reasonable.
Spending 60$ the first time and another 60$ for a new account.

If you have your original access key, they should restore your account (you'll need to scan or send a picture of it in). However, this will be a waste of time for both you and Anet Support if you have not removed the keylogger from your computer. Also, and I'm saying this because common sense doesn't always rule our lives, DON'T create your new account, assuming you get one, under your hacked email address.

You had to have gone somewhere you shouldn't have if you picked up a keylogger. Otherwise, you must have given someone an easy way to find your email address password. Either way, your security seems loose and you might want to get a grip on that. Having a firewall and virus scanner won't save you forever.

Yep, searching for Cracks/Bots or Porn in doubtful sites will mess you up.
Garenteed.

Get avast, like i mentioned in one of my earlier posts(and linked)
Really helps alot, trust me.

Since you are refering to a program tried trough another thread, can we know what that product is?

If you are refering to Avast I can also confirm it spotted certain viruses that other anti-viruses i had didnt spot.

It installed automatically for me and took me awhile to notice I even had it too If you have auto-priority updates on you should have it.

It's icon is a castlewall-ish thing in the active program icon bar.

Thanks, il check it out.

Those windows updates are always hiting me hard.

But i wont complain, when i had Norton(or was it Panda?) the updates were always a killer when i was playing gw, giving usually the common freeze lag, among other.

Avast has 10seconds updates, quick , simple, litle lag.
Perfect for online gamers.
Imo.

try this in google or go to windows site.."Windows Defender (BETA 2)" another good thing if you dont have is "spy protector" it scans all the items in the process list to make sure they are what they say they are.

Thanks.
I checked and dont have Windows Defender installed.
Basically the only protection programs I use right now are:

Avast! Anti-virus

Glarysoft Registry Repair

LavaSoft AD-Aware SE Personal(might consider uninstalling since it loses many features if i opt for the free version, plus avast does all the work)

I used to use a Firewall called Zone Alarm, but quite frankly i havent caught a nasty virus in quite a long time(because im carefull concerning exploring nasty sites), so i dismissed it.

Imo, the name of the worst possible virus out there is called " Being careless" , search for illegal crap and your bound to get burned if you dont have the proper tools.

Download and run this too. Vundofix, it'll get rid of anything that may have been missed and trust me something will have been missed.

It's only 80K, no installation required. Just download, run the .exe and wait. When finished if it's found something delete them. The program will ask you to reboot and all will be fine.
