Curse

I've been experiencing bad lags, as in frames per second decreasement, music static noises bursts, camera angle slowing everything, character models and textures loading slower, constant freezes in battles, and it only started yesterday noon, which is odd.

I've had GW for about two weeks now and I could say this is the first time I've experiencing it in GW.
I've looked up to some old topics and also read the contig topic, so I've been contiging my files and continuously defragmentating them, in order to be able to contig those who weren't contiged last time, but it still doesn't seem to help.

My last resort would be re-installing GW, but I'd like to know if anyone is experiecing the same problem, or did anyone experience it and manage to solve it.

Comments will be appreciated.

I have Guild Wars for about half a year and I have been getting bad lags and random error 007 since the new update.

I've followed a few guides and the problem is not yet resolved, this is horrible, my FPS barely manages to go above 30 and it stays around 1-20 most of the time, especially in battles, it started only yesterday, very odd.

As well, I think it might have to do with my PC, I've been getting two beeps since yesterday each time I start my PC, I read it's some sort of POST Error, but I don't know how to fix it, help will be embraced.

This sounds a little like how my problem started. GW began being very very laggy for me until in the end it just resorted to either closing GW itseld of shutting down the PC... I don't know if our problems are connected in any way but in case they are here is a link to my problem which, as of yet, also remains unsolved.

My problem also mysteriously started just after the update...

Does anyone who have access to the main GW forums know if there's similar topics there, and maybe solutions?
