Default Annoying text issue.

Just had a look through this forum and couldn't find anything relating to this.

Sometimes, and for a reason I cannot ascertain, the text in the chat box backs up on itself. A gap appears between the bottom text and the bottom of the chat hud. It means I have to scroll up to read the text as It should be, and then constantly scroll down to keep up with it.

Any ideas what may cause this, and if I can fix it?

I have the same problems sometimes. If you log out and in again its fixed, which is what I always do. It's really annoying sometimes.

Yup. happens to me too. Pretty much only ever happens when I've scrolled up to look at something, then scrolled back down only to find the gap, which then gets bigger and bigger. Re-zoning doesn't seem to do anything, but logging out (as mentioned) does.

Only happens to me if i'm in windowed mode. The problem goes away when I switch to full screen.

Ah, interesting. I'm always in windowed as I always have a bunch of other stuff going on.

I've noticed it only appears to be an issue with the trade channel. If I close that and let the other chats run for a few minutes (and then switch back), it fixes itself.

I agree...with the ^ post turn of trade for a bit(few minutes not seconds)...then turn it back and and it usually fixes itself...

I've seen that happen before. I find that if you just let it be, it'll eventually reset itself.
