Connection f'd for preview weekend?
Preface: I read the lag sticky and will pursue the suggestions that were made.
I've been playing GW for 10 months now no problems. All of a sudden I have been hit with lag that is so persistant that I can't Monk/or MM or do anything reliably. I have a cable modem connection, and i have noticed for the preview weekend I've been downloading files at ~7kb/s which is embaressing. I just got back from vacation and i had my local cable company do some work on my lines while i was away and I am now wondering is it 1) cable company has f'd up my connection, 2) I am enduring this lag because of the preview weekend or, 3) the problem is on GW server's end.
Please advise me not only of what you suspect but also how to resolve the problem, considering that I can no longer play any of my toons reliably be it PvP or even PvE with this degree of lag.
