Its not just the eastcoast the problem is on European servers as well. I am lucky to last 3-4 minutes atm before lag spike 007.

Working with tech support at the moment! Hopefully they get it resolved quickly.

well, im glad that im at least not the only person who is faced with this.
im from the netherlands aswell, but i use the american servers since thats where my guild/aliance is located and all my friends are. I logged on Last night for the first time since the event to find i was lagging and got a err7 withing 5 minutes. this continued for an hour or 2, sometimes i could stay on for s long as 15 minutes:-). i tried it again just before work this morning, problem remained. And when i came back from work 9 hours later it was still there.

im certain they will find a solution since they always have (well for me any way), but in the meanwhile ill be playing something else and check up on GW every once in a while:P

I'm from China Hong Kong and I encounter the same problem here since this morning. I got lag and then err7 no more than 10 mins whenever I logged in. I had some kind of lagging from time to time but never suffer such a big trouble before today.

I'am from Russia but play on American servers, and I have same problem with err7 since this morning. Hope it will be fixed soon, because now game disconnects every 2-3 minutes. Before today it plays flawlessly on my ADSL connection.
2 scrinner
open command prompt (Start/All Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt) and type
tracert xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - ip aderess of your GW server. you will get exact numbers from your err7 message

I've read in another forum a response from Gaile. It says the Network team has been informed of this issue and will look into it. Also several people on that forums said that the connection issue is much better now. They can play for an hour without err7. So it seems the situation is improving. Hopefully by the time i leave work everything will be back to normal!!
