Default Critical Error

I cant open GW at all anymore. I get a Critical Error message. I recently downloaded Windows Media Player 11(Beta), then uninstalled it and re-installed Windows Media Player 10 (due to a conflict with another app). The GW critical error came up just after that so i have to assume the switch is the reason for it. I fear that i will have to uninstall/reinstall GW. Does anyone know about this? I've contacted GW support and just waiting for response. thx.

Do you have more information on the critical error? Any message?
