Hey, guys,

I wanted to update you on two bugs that we're aware of and are currently working to fix.

First of all, there's that irritating "Did I cast that or didn't I?" bug. That's the one where you don't hear the sounds, don't see the animations or particle effects, but sure enough, the skill icon appears in the upper left, so you know you're good to go. Well, we don't want you to have to peer into the upper left to know you're good to go, and this is admittedly a bug, and we're working on it. FYI, it's sorta complicated, because I've talked to about half a dozen people, and since this overlaps animation, special effects, sound, and skill casting, it's hard to nail down where the issue is. It is no insoluable, though, and we'll fix it, rest assured.

Secondly, you've noticed that your Skill Bar is often, when first heading into an instance, displaying lovely hourglasses. Now, I'm a big fan of hourglasses. I love the whole fantasy/alchemy/wizardry/old fashioned/Wicked Witch of the West has Dorothy locked in the castle tower look of the things. However, attractive as they may be

a decor item isn't so helpful when you're in combat. Soooo, we'll fix that, too. According to our interface programmer, it's a matter currently under investigation, and it's another pesky one but will be addressed soon.

Hope this is helpful information, and I'll try to update you as progress is made. Of course, if you witness a correction to either of these, well, there's your update.

Very true! Thanks Gaile, it's alway's good news when the devs/company people take heed of players' bug reports. Even better when they announce that they're working to fix 'em.

what about the bug that eats ur energy. im still coming across it ive turned in a bug report. it affects you when your under a dp. as a warrior with 2 monk enchantments that cut energy regen to zero its bad enough. but after a dp depending on the total energy i have remaining determines what number it jumps 6 energy instead of 5 energy when i use a 5 energy skill such as cyclone axe.

with 20 energy and a dp of roughly 15 or something that reduces my total energy to 17 when i cast a 5 energy spell from 17 it drops to 11 rest of numbers i have noticed from then are fine. dp 24 or max 15 energy 15 energy cast a cyclone and it drops to 9 energy. from there its fine. then a dp of 4 energy appears fine until i get down to 9 and then cast a cyclone and drops me to 3 energy.

i hope someone is looking into it. i was told in my bug report they were if they need more info i can provide because i would luv to see this fixed. i already have enough problems with energy with a warrior as it is let alonbe this bug.

Phew I was almost afraid this was somting you actually put into the game

But I am glad to hear it is a bug that will be fixsed

Thanks a lot Gaile, I really appreciate this.

Before I read this post I thought the problem was caused by my computer and I just couldn't figure out what the problem was. I did a lot of things to speed up my internet with some effect. I even discovered bad things like adware in my computer that are now gone thanks to the checkup. So it's all good....

That sounds like a rounding error. What is probably happening is that you have something like 16.5 energy, though the interface shows 17. I think it rounds up when you have max energy. When you cast you go to 11.5 energy, but it rounds down since youre not at max energy.

In any case this is really annoying.

On topic: thank god those hour glasses will be history. I remember when it used to simply load the icon for the skill. Can we go back to that?

Theres also another thing ive noticed. If you are temporarily bodyblocked inroute to an enemy when you select to use a skill, your character dumps the use skill command, though it never used to. This tends to mess up my attack combos alot. It happens even if im in melee range of the enemy im on. Is this a bug?

eh never thought about it but i am inclined to think not because whenever i get to 19 energy as max it drops 19-14-9-3 all using cyclone if that were the case it should have dropped 19-13 if it was 18.5 or something and then dropped normally. i havent really found a way to test a whole lot of other numbers since the spells' energy generally go in multiples of 5's.

ive sorta had this happen very anoying cept generally when we all clump up,(henchies and I)and 1 tagret dies another one is targeted and appears in roughly same location but i cant attack being body blocked by my own troops must first click somewhere else and then go attack.

im not sure if it's just me but as of today, the hourglasses seemed to have vanished and skills icons are all there immediately
