Running GuildWars on NVidia Go 7400
Hello, I am getting an Asus W7J laptop (13.3"W, Core2Duo 1.66GHz T5500, 1GB Ram, with Nvidia Go 7400 128gb dedicated). Does anybody have any experience with the Nvidia Go 7400 card? I only plan to do light gaming, such as Guild Wars, no first person shooters are anything like that. Would it confortably run GuildWars on high graphics settings?
I know somebody is going to say, upgrade the video card, but I highly value an ultraportable laptop (small, lightweight, long battery life, usually comes in 12.1" or 13.3"). The only other ultraportables that I know of that are on the market right now that has dedicated graphics is the Dell M1210 and the Sony Vaio SZ3xx series, both has the 7400. If the card cannot run GuildWars, I may consider getting a larger laptop (I know some 14" ones are still quite light, but have a 7700 instead, which should be able to run most games without any problem). it will be fine
but GW will eat battery life, so dont expect 5 hours of GW on a battery
