Default need help getting guild wars to work

I need help getting Guild Wars to work at my college. My college employs software on the network's gateway computer which prioritizes packets based upon what the software thinks the information is. Is gives low priorities to unrecognized packets. Guild Wars is not recognized by the program. The connection is T3 shared over the campus and I would really like to get on Guild Wars. The IT department refuses to help me I guess because they feel it is not their problem. Any soloutions to this problem would be greatly appreciated. The person who helps me log on if any will recieve 10 platinum within seconds of my logon. I just really want to play and am stumped. Some people have suggested HTTPS tunneling which I have tried to no avail. The proxy servers I did manage to find though weren't even working for web browsing though. For contact reasons my e-mail is alphasynaptic at gmail dot com and my aim screen name is alphasynaptic. Using ProxyCap and forcing a direct connect with Guild Wars got it connected. I will still reward anyone who can help eliminate the lag I experience in game. I get about 7kb/s average in game on T3 which is not normal.
