24th october network screwup
Hail to the reader of this,
Today, I've been hearing about problems connecting to certain area's. Some people get Err40 every time they connect to their Guild Hall, which sucks for ppl that have all their characters stand by in GH. For me it was 3x in a row, while doing bonusses in Sanctum Cay, Iron Mines and Ice Caves. Right when the mission was going smooth and we were progressing towards the end of the mission... BAM!.. Err7. Which is really annoying, since I've now successfully spend an entire morning accomplishing nothing. This would encourage me to go farming again, since chances are not that disastrous when erring there... unless that 15^50 Crystalline just dropped for u. Never got any problems with Err7 before, got a flawless T3 connection when I ping it. Seems to me that Anet is doing some unscheduled network remoddeling. Or did I miss something? Regards, Cain |

Actually this morning ANET did some SCHEDULED maintenance work. Hoewever it should of finished by 5:15 am GMT. Perhaps it ran over? This information is easily available from the Guildwars website under Network News.

I got booted around 11:30-12am (CST) and then I never could get past the login screen, because it err=13'd every time I selected a char ^^
