I don't have a solution but I share your pain. I also get this quite frequently, and it takes 5 or so minutes to do the "repairing data archive" thingy. I'm hoping someone has a solution.

First of all, there are plenty of threads regarding this issue, which are very easy to search for with the phrase "reparing archive"

Anyways. This could be from one of several reasons:
- Your computer files are a bit misplaced. Defraging your hardrive can solve your problem if this is the case.
- Your ram is broken. Replacing the ram stick will solve the problem in this case. There are programs to check if your ram is functioning properly. Search for threads with this topic, and the link to the programs will be there.

When I had the error, it was because of bad ram, and replacing it solved my problem.

I had this problem once it was due to a virus. Do a few scans and see if you find anything.
