Missing primary quest item - any option apart from try whole game again?
I collected a reward in Nightfall, but the item that would start the next part of the primary quest did not appear, so I am stuck unable to continue with the game. I emailed support and got a standard email back saying they would pass on my feedback - is there anyone i can contact to get my char reset to before quest or something? Please help, I am gutted to have gotten so far with her and worked so hard and not to be able to continue

Can't you just abandon the quest and go talk to the NPC that gave it to you? Or doe that not work for primary quests?

I can't abandon it because it was considered completed and I talked to the reward guy, but he didnt give me the quest item. The quest is gone from my quest log, and I went to try find the npc who gave it, she is not where she originally gave me the quest, I'm still looking.....
