Default Internet Cafe

My laptop is off for repairs and I want to play GW in an internet cafe. The problem is a security policy that reverts the games and windows drive n every computer back to the same way it was at the beginning.

So GW is about 18 months old here and only has the data for pre-sear in the gw dat file.

Ok what is being suggested is I get the game to update the client file and get as much data in the dat file - and then save this on a disk.

They will then copy and paste in at the beginnning of my next GW session on top of the old GW file which is restored every time the computer restarts.

Thing is I dont know if this is actually possible. Will the game actually run like this if it was just copy and pasted into the games folder? Will windows be annoying?

Thanks all

Sam

Yes, this is perfectly fine. When I reformatted my drive last month, I burned my gw folder to dvd, then installed the game on the fresh drive and copied over with the burned folder. Worked perfectly.
