Ok so I was in a GvG and i was going along running flag and moving through the game, no lagging on vent, and no cut off from the internet, when i tried to use a skill the skill just flashed, and all of my guildies told me to start moving, and on my screen i was moving. So i was confused, my skillbar was just flashing. i could move, and i could watch the game, but i couldnt pick up the flag, i couldnt use skills, but i could go through the entire map on my screen, i did not get disconnected, i did not dissconect from Ventrilo, and i didnt get to do anything in the gvg, it costed us a Win and dropped our rank signifficantly cuz the team we went up against was low rank. PLEASE tell that is wasnt my computer cuz it sure doesnt seem like it. It frustrated my guild and myself. I have more screenshots to prove that other players were moving on my screen but i couldnt do anything.

Common lag issue.

Its an 'upload' issue, Your PC (for whatever reason, your connection, ISP, their provider.. who knows) cannot send the information TO the guild wars servers, it can receive the information, which is why you could watch the GvG, and see everything that was happening, but to be able to sue skills and move, you need to send packets, which was the issue...

either way, it was a lag issue, and i wouldn't worry about it, happened to me a few times when my ISP was having issues, it settled though..

I have been having a similar problem....my husband and I were playing and he says I have stopped and he is next to me, however; on my computer I am running away to the npc. He says nope, you are stuck next to me....this went on for about 2 or 3 minutes, then I suddenly jumped to where he was and yes, I was stuck there I guess for those minutes....we are in the same house, on the same dsl......and my computer is faster (and newer)....
I hope this is resolved soon, I also ran thru the command center and out of it all the while being stuck at lonai! (that was a rude jump back).
