Default Resolution Problem

So I was trying to find the perfect resolution for my new monitor/PC, and I changed to too big of a resolution and the game did not revert back automatically. So now every time I turn on the client loads I get a black screen and a message from the monitor saying the frequency isn't supported. Is there some button combo I can press to run in Windows mode or reset settings?

alt+enter switches from fullscreen to windowed, or you could try altering the shortcut properties

Remember I can't see anything because the monitor doesn't support the resolution I accidently set, I already tried blindly clicking that but end up closing the client every time.

Carth's solution worked, thanks a lot.

Windows likes to install "default monitor" drivers if it has any trouble.

Problem is monitor drivers tell the video card and windows what the system is capable of. I would check verify you have the manufactures monitor drivers installed vs Microsoft's generic default monitor drivers. It also prevent windows from switching to frequencies that are not supported.
