Default Screen Shots

I don't know if this is really the right area, but it seemed most appropriate. I just want to know how i can put a screen shot on this site. I tried typing in the C:\Screens\Guild Wars\gw***.bmp thing (it's something like that, I'm not looking at one now so i unno but its like that.), but it just came out saying [IMG] blah blah blah blah [IMG] and there was nothing there, thanks if you can help me with this.

You have to host the picture somewhere first before you can link to it. Also, .bmp files are normally large so I'd change the pictures format to .jpg before posting them.

Upload the picture to one of the following free image hosts:

http://imageshack.us/
http://photobucket.com/
http://www.freeimagehosting.net/
http://tinypic.com/

You may want to change the picture format from *.bmp to *.png, *.jpg, or *.jpeg before attempting to upload. You can do this with MS Paint or any other image editing software you may have.

We actually have a full guide on the subject here at Guru, you should check it out.

HOW-TO GUIDE: Taking & Posting Screenshots or Videos

Now that the question has been thoroughly answered, I don't see a need for this thread to remain open. We wouldn't want any spam seeping in, now would we?
