Curse

During the biggest nightfall update several of my green items' appearances changed. For example, my black straw effigy appears the default color in the inventory screen, yet in an exploration area it retains its black appearance. Similarly, my Wingstorm looks like a totally different green. I heard that Anet had acknowledged this problem and was going to fix it, yet it has been quite a while since the update and I'm a bit worried. Further, recent updates haven't even alluded to any corrections in this area. I sent a letter to Anet about the problem a while ago, and I naturally received a computer generated response--no word since. I'm simply wondering whether other people are experiencing this problem, or am I the exception? Perhaps it's an error specific to my game? Perhaps I should reinstall the software? Any insight would be appreciated.

Yea same happened to my weapons. i think they meant to do that but i aint sure. aint that much of a problem.

its because they changed the whole dye system, some armour shows wrong on the login screen some times too...

the new system, now makes it the colour you actually dyed it, much better representation, and black is actually, now, black, instead of a grey colour

i wouldnt worry about it

- just some people have ended up having to re-dye thier black to get it darker

yeh I mean I tried to re-dye the straw effigy, but to no avail. I mean I'm not too worried about it, it's just the appearance in the inventory screen, and I'm sure they will correct it sooner or later...one would hope.
