Wink Jumpy NPCs

Hiya

For the past few days, I've had some NPCs jumping around on my screen. They do this loop where they run and jump into place. Their target circle remains in the one place but the graphic of the NPC moves around.

My friend who sometimes plays with me has been with me when this has happened and says they're not doing it to him...so I dunno what it is?

I tried rebooting the computer since I hadn't done that in a while but they're still jumping around. Kinda annoying.

This was happening to me right outside of Kamadan. If I stood still, my heroes would start "teleporting" all around me. I had to keep moving as it was pretty annoying to watch.

This isn't restricted to time, location, standing still or moving. They do it everywhere, even my henchies. It's REALLY annoying.

Well, reinstalling the client seems to have fixed it. Dunno why I didn't think to do that before. But anyway...if anyone else has that problem, there's your solution.

That's caused by some kind of lag.

I've seen that happen to me when anet was having server issues.

We've known about this issue for a little while, actually.

Am i the only one with this bug

Glad to know that it's fixable by a simple reinstallation.

Hey m8.

I fixed it on my laptop. Simply delete gw.dat file and start the game.

Warning Guild wars needs to download a new gw.dat file, and it can take some time.
