Default Make everyone elses armor look as good as yours?

Is it possible to make everyone elses armor in the game look as good as yours does? That is one thing that always bugged me as even though I like my armor to look cool, I like to be able to look at other peoples armor and have it look cool as well. But instead it's all blurry and well, crappy looking. Is there an option for it and I've just somehow missed it? If not, there really should be an option for it. =(

Invite them into your group and go adventuring. Their armor looks as good as yours in an instance.

Even if you have the best graphic card, armor on other people will not look as good as yours in towns and outposts, but if you go outside of towns and outposts it will look better. I don't know if it will look as good as yours but it will look a lot better than it did in the towns and outposts.

Outside of a town or outpost, say in a mission, all armour is the same resolution.

Inside of a town or outpost where there is a load of people running around armour is of a less high resolution than outside, mainly to save on your graphics. It's the same for everyone, even us running the latest graphics cards. You could be running a 768MB 8800GTX and you'd still get the same result.

It's just how the game works.

Yes I know that, I was just wanting it to all look good in towns/outposts. But it seems there is no such option as all of you told me the same thing. =\

Perhaps if you had the know-how to make a system that runs 16 video cards in SLI...and could get the cooperation of Anet to enable this feature in-game...

Huh? Why would you need such a thing not to mention it would be retarded... I'm quite sure my PC could run it just fine as is.

That's a bit selfish though! There are people who play this game with older and lower specced machines, and I doubt that they would be happy about having their systems grinding to a halt in every town or outpost.

Reaaaally? Your computer can render 200 people at best detail with no problem? It's dubious.
