I left one of my characters in Nundu Bay, and when I try to load up, it stays at 0%. I can log into all my other characters not in Nundu bay though. I tried running one of my other characters in there, but once they got there, they stayed at 0% too. Any ideas?

well I am having similar issues, and I just contacted support. It started with my character being stuck and unable to leave an outpost or map teleport.
Later I started getting error 05 at login when I try to load my characters from the login screen.

Same goes here: i was playing i stopped for like an hour to do something else and i came back started up the game logged in to the character selection screen and yeah then i get error=5 when i want to get actually into the game. i tryed like everything now and still it doesnt work for me

I'm having a similar problem...

I tried warping to Gate of Anguish, but when i get to the loading screen, it says: Connecting: 0%

normally, everything would load in less than 10 secs, but now its been 10 mins, and its still not connecting. I went to go eat breakfast, and then came back, and GW finally gave a Code = 05...couldn't connect to server.

I tried logging back in, got through the character select screen, click my character to go back to gate of anguish, and i still get the loading screen at 0%.

frustrated, i went to grab another character to see if they can load into gate of anguish. Kamadan loaded fine, went to lion's arch to see if i got a similar problem, but it loaded fine. went to explorable areas in elona just to see if the monsters loaded ok too...they were fine.

went to chantry of secrets, asked them to let me into gate of anguish, and now that 2nd character is stuck at the loading screen.

went to try a 3rd character. and just tried to enjoy myself without going into the gate of anguish. So I went to lair of the forgotten to turn in a reward....and behold the dreaded connecting: 0% screen.

it seems that only the tormented areas (with that loading screen) are giving me problems loading into.

I started playing my lvl 7 paragon for a couple hours to kill time, that character had no trouble zoning.

Several hours have passed (9hrs), and I still have those 3 characters stuck at the loading screen. i don't have any more characters that can reach the the later parts of the game, but I did happen to try nundu bay, and now my 4th character is stuck trying to load into nundu bay.

I have tried doing that "gw.exe -image" switch thing, and it successfully did its job...but it hasn't fixed the problem at all. ran AVG virus scanner, spybot: search and destroy, adaware, and even defragmented and error checked my harddrive. everything came up fine. I even did a ramcheck to make sure all 1 gig of ram were ok

Please Please Please someone fix this....all i have left is characters under lvl 10 to do newbie quests with....

currently have 20 gigs of free disk space on the drive that houses guildwars...

My other internet applications work perfectly. webpages, AIM, Counterstrike, etc...

alright, so just the other night, alot of people were having the same problem, and with time, eather gw fixed, or internet provider fixed it.

I can't log in with my tank, but can with every other character. Figures my tank if farthest and i don't even want to play the other characters. It started when i was getting the assassin hero outside kainang center. when i went to zone it never connected. Now when i try to connect with my tank it just hangs at 0%, eventually giving me the error. Like i said, all other characters will connect but him, which makes it hard to tell what is happening, cause it obviously works fine except with one character.

Like i said, there was a problem just like this the other night, only there was a post a lot bigger then this one. I hope it's just not a couple of us that are in trouble.

Post back if the problem gets fixed for you, especially if it took a support email.

My faster computer is having problems like this too! I can advance in the story line becasue it wont load into the place, then when i go onto my super crappy computer it loads. Whats up with this? I usually load into a place in 3-5 seconds and this only happens in elona.
Another thing is i get super lag on the area Below Keining and the "Brown Town" area, only liek 4 FPS, i was thinking it was the texture becasue when i am in the Keining Arena in Randoms i get super lag there. This really needs to be fixed.

wow nice idea, i'm gonna jump on my girlfriend's computer and see if i can log in on her's

Tried it and it didn't work. They are hanging on her computer too. I also tried having my necro go to kaineng, and now he's stuck and can't load. Also noticed my assassin can't log into lion's arch. But i can log in with my dervish and paragons. Like i said before it's really similiar to the problem yesterday or the day before.

Still having trouble on each of my characters....

i even disconnected the router earlier, hooked my computer straight into the cablemodem, and still stuck at the loading screen.

I'm running win xp if that makes a difference...

ventrilo still works so i can chat with my guildies, as well as play the low level characters that aren't bugged at a loading screen....

Here's a couple towns that currently leave me at a 0% complete loading screen: Astralarium, jokunar diggings, nundu bay, lair of the forgotten, and domain of anguish. All of these really puzzle me because even after the last update, I had no trouble accessing these towns, but when i logged off for the night, and logged back in, i started having trouble loading those towns.

i'm having mixed experiences now.

i had called my girlfriend cause she is at her parents for the weekend, i had her use the computer there and try to connect my tank. She got through and could move him, so i had her get him out of kaineng and to kamadan. Then on my computer i logged in and it worked, i could connect and move him around. The first time i tried to leave the zone i hung at 0% connecting. restarted game and tried again and it worked this time. Then i zoned to where i was in the game played and completed the mission and everything was fine. now i have to go in nightfallen jihadi and it's like it a random thing wether or not i can load in or not just says connecting 0%. But at least now i can shutdown gw and restart and login my tank. I can't diagnose this cause it's all over the place.

Ok so im trying different zones, and other ones i try are fine, but if i try to enter nightfallen jahai it hangs at the connection. It's weird cause the first time i tried it, it connected fine, but i got killed and when i went to try a 2nd time, and times there after, it hangs.

well, i sent a bugreport to ncsoft, they asked some general questions on how i connect to the internet, and i submitted the network diagnostics log to them.

I sure hope they can fix my problem. i can't progress any farther in the game cuz of these areas not being able to load....

i also sent a report in, prolly not as detailed as yours with the networking diagnositics. I haven't gotten a response back yet. I don't understand why they would ask about your net connection, because you can enter other zones fine. There's something with these particular zones.

i figure i should add:

i use comcast in pa philly
i have done the guildwars -image download

i'm also, cause i can't progress with the character i want to-going to uninstall and reinstall the whole 4gig damn game, ack..... without any of the disks no less-cheers

haha...actually, i'm connected by comcast, nj...

comcast seems to hate everything that involves popular things that use bandwidth on a constant behavior... even though they advertise it all the time...

and of course, comcast won't fix the problem, they told me many times, if its your game(s) that can't connect to us, then that's their problem...(in better wording though so it doesn't look like its their fault)

k so i had my girlfriend again because she's still at her parents use the computer there and try to enter nightfallen jihai. She got it to work just fine. Now just before this i tried on my computer and the other her computer that is at this place to no luck. Then she trys and it works. So right after that i try it here on mine and it works fine. This is exactly what happend last night, i had to have her on a different computer somewhere else fix the problem. And again i haven't had a problem since then on the same zones. I really don't understand. Her parents are using comcast in nj.

Last night i thought maybe by chance in the 5 mins of her trying kaineng center, anet had fixed the problem. But to no tonight her doing the same thing fixes nightfallen, i'm so confused

After several hours of finding ways to kill my time since I now have 4 primary character all STUCK in specific zones (Nundu Bay, Chantery of Secrets), I still can't load characters or get them out of the zone. I disabled my D-link router, and hard wired a direct connection from my Cable Modem to my PC, disabled any software firewalls, and still gave me no resolution to my problem. I also have Comcast on the East Coast, and its still giving me problems also.

I did the -image command, and the -diag command and sent it to A-net, yet they still havn't replied or updated my situation. Everything was working fine before they patched the last update. I think they need to do a roll back on that patch and get this organized and fixed.

i would love to flame comcast, but the fact my girlfriend when in jersey with comcast could move my characters and unstuck them for me...... I'm curious if the computers here use the same servers or however comcast works as you gengarok and never sober, where maybe she's farther south jersey. where east coast are you gengarok? and where in jersey are you never sober?
