Default Graphics Drive Failure

When I leave Wehhan Terraces and go into Yatendi Canyons my load screen pops up, then it stops at 100%. I then find another pop-up saying my graphics driver is failing even though this is the first time I've EVER had a problem with this. Help!

I had the same problem, told me to save all work and restart the computer to solve the problem. It wasn't a GW pop-up btw, it was a Windows message. Also, I pressed OK, but it wouldn't restart and gave me a black screen with the "-" flashing. Never had this before myself either.
btw, happened to me when coming back from a battle in HA.

Several possible cures. These may take a bit of time but they should fix the problem.

1 Download the latestest drivers for the video card that you have from the manufacturers website.
2 update directx to the latest version.
3 after dowloading the newest drivers UNINSTALL ALL OLD DRIVERS FOR YOUR VIDEO CARD THAT ARE ON YOUR COMPUTER.
4 after that install the new drivers from the .exe you got from the manufacturer.

This should fix your problems. One reason people have video driver problems is due to an incomplete uninstall of the previous version, which causes conflicts between the old and new>

To uninstall yur old graphics drivers open the control panel: start then look for the contol panel. Next open the Add and REmove program section within the control panel. This will show you wat can be removed or repaired. Find any entries within there pertaining to the video card that you have. Remove all of them then restart your computer. the windows found new hardware thing will start cancel it. Go to where you downloaded the new drivers and start the instalation .
At and Nvidea will have there own entries within the Add or Remove program section so if that is what kind of video card you have then look for those entries. Intel might be under something slightly different though.Hope this gets you going again.

What graphics card do you have? The problem may stem from you having outdated hardware which Guild Wars does not support.
