My computer is brand new. Alienware offers the x850 as one of the components you can select.

Before I had this system I had an older (2 years) Dell. I put an Nvidia 6800 Ultra in it (after upgrading the power supply to run it). It cooked. Maybe it was my computer. Maybe the computer tech I had install it installed it wrong. Maybe it was defective. But I know this. No more nVidia cards for me.

3200+ s754 OC'd to 2.3 on Asus K8N-E Deluxe
1GB 2 X 512 Low end Corsair CL 2.5
Asus EAX800 Pro VIVO Flashed to XT PE (ATI Bios, not Asus's). No artifacts
plenty of hard drive space, over 500 Gb on 3 drives

And my most recent acquisition, and one that I'm proud of : Saitek Eclipse keyboard ! lol

Anyways, I'm fullu equiped until the last gen boards for s939 or the 1st gen M2 or whatever sockets come out. Hopefully, until the 2nd gen boards/chipsets come out for the M2. By then DDR2 Mainstream Value sticks will outperform most high end DDR400-450 sticks, if not, I'll wait

By the Force, man! Why would you want the Light-Side case?

Dark-Side for the win, baby! (We really need to steal the Emporer emoticon from the Star Wars Galaxies messageboard.)

Never mind, consider it stolen.
