What generalizations? I tested my system on Sandra. My 2.42Ghz performs on par with 3.6Ghz P4 processors. I got the numbers to prove it.

Always test your machine with more than 1 test bed... If you come up with the same results then your all good... If not then your seen things and the program is biased....

And of course I concern myself with your post. If I post that my "FX-55" runs at "4.5" I'm obviously just trying to show off by confusing people. And it is a generalization. According to a particular test you win? There are still a few multitasking benchmarks to look at, and tons of other tests and things to take into account.

A pretty modest o'c on the CPU,but I haven't really tried to push it yet. The video card, on the other hand, is about as good as its going to get. Hopefully I can add an ATI Silencer 5 and eek out a little more (and quiet things down a bit more).

You still haven't proved me wrong, I'm still waiting for you to actually physically prove that ever single 3500+ card in the entire world cannot be OC'd to 3.8. Obviously you are generalizing, and you obviously aren't taking into consideration that I am a proffesional, and I have years of experiece using computer hardware and software.
