Default Mouse going crazy!

Howdy.

I bought this pc a few months ago and its a dream compared to my old one. Its perfect in every way but one, alot of the time, (usally when i haven't moved my mouse for a few seconds) when i do use my mouse after that slight pause, it goes crazy and darts around the screen. When i bought the pc (Zoomstorm, can't remember model, and i don't have the time at this moment to look it up) i was told the mouse and keyboard were usless, i have replaced my keyboard with my old one, however i have left the mouse,

I am wondering, is this a problem with my mouse, and does it need replacing, or is it a problem with the computer? This usally only occurs with WoW, and i haven't noticed it happening at any other time (however anything else i do, mouse controll isnt usally as imporant).

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

If it is a wireless mouse, there might be an issue with the signal, or you might need new batteries.

Mice are pretty cheap, so the first thing I would try is getting a new mouse. Especially because someone already told you the mouse was garbage. If this doesn't fix the problem, it might be a lag issue you are having with the game, and you move but the game doesn't immediately respond, and when it does it jumps right to where you had moved to.

If you are experiencing a lag problem, post complete system specs and tell us what programs you have running in the background of your computer.

Just ask if you need help with finding any of this information.
