Default How to Back Up GW data?

I am building a new machine today and I plan on using the drive I am currently playing GW's on. I was wondering, how can I save my character data or is it all on account and I can access my character simply by logging in? A friend claimed that all he had to do to access it on his friend's machine was to log in with his user name and password.

Is my save/profile/character info stored somewhere on my physical hard drive or is it all on the GW servers? Thanks.

All data is stored on the Guild Wars' database, except for your skill and equipment templates and screenshots.

So how do I save my skills/equipment? Can I use a storage account for my equipment?

No, Blaze meant your Templates folder. It's where your templates for PvP equipment and skills are saved.

Zero character data is stored on your hard drive. You can install GuildWars on a friends computer and all you characters, data, etc will be there.

Screen shots you take, (when you hit the print screen key), or saving your character skills to the "template" which allows you to load / change build you make easily are there.
