It always used to work, but when I alt-tab out of GW now, I get the loud music through all my other stuff, pretty annoying. Yes, the box is ticked. It has been like this for a few days now, and it really isn't working as it should.
any suggestions?

Actually it works, just don't use windows key or alt-tab, click the minimize button on the top right corner.

Using Alt-tab always worked for me prior to the Winter Festival update. I have had the same problem since. It seems to me to be something they did in the code of the Winter Festival update - nothing else has changed on my system. Hopefully it will be fixed with the next patch, people shouldn't have to remember to use minimize (instead of Alt-tab) with a Windows based program to get a function to work.
