Default Err=10, No Reconnect

Has anyone else had the problem where they lag out reconnect, then almost immediatly after reconnecting have an err=10 where it says cannot do action please wait sending them back to the character screen?

It just happened to me and I am not very happy, was about 30 minutes from finishing Foundry....

Anyway Discuss possible problems arising from this issue, if this has happened to you and any ideas of possible causes of this error.

My entire guild group experience the same thing as well while completing a mission and everyone got disconnected in the cut scene.

Furthermore after that incident, the lag in game has significantly increased and i was getting upwards of 5000-6000 ping spikes followed by increased err07 rate. Lag was also prevelant in instances as well.

Is there something wrong? Guild Wars is turning into Lag Wars?

Edit:

forgot to mention, the Guild Hall have somewhat been laggy since the start of the game and seemingly gotten worse since NF which is making it a pain to visit despite buying all the NPCs for it.

Are you really tin Singapore? As it says under your avatar. Did you miss the Earthquake and the connection problems that area has had? The is nothing wrong with the GW servers ... It is your connection or a router, etc. Check problems on your end or along the line to the servers before you blame them.

I crashed yesterday as usual and upon reconnecting it said i was unable to, but was prompted to retry again or cancel.

No its nothing to do with the earthquake problems from tawian. Most of the traffic has been rerouted and most of the internet services have been restored island wide in Singapore. Besides, our group isnt just made up of Players from Singapore but those from several other states of the US as well.

Similarly lag spikes have been confirmed with many others ingame from other regions of the world as well.

I run on a stable cable connection which provided access to GW servers on the night of the earthquake incident while some pple still had trouble accessing google. So i would appreciate that you dont assume too much as well.

I am in the states also, so it seems to be a global problem. Seems like the lag is even worse today. Again checked with some friends and guidies and they comfirmed.

Heard rumors about a little server maintenance being done as many people were angry about lag all last night and this morning.
