Default Please help me someone, shut down, stuck and lag problems.

Whenever I start GW up I can play, for about 30-40 minutes. Then it just stops, nothing happens. I cant even tab to another program, even though I run window mode. I can move the cursor in gw a little but then it gets stuck. The only solution is to shut of the computer and "resolve" connection to the server when I enter the game again. I have no idea why it has been doing this, low memory, graphic card getting old (I have Geforce FX 5200)?

I didnt have this problem maybe 2 weeks ago.. and now it started. After I restarted the computer by pressing the manuall restart button I can play gw, but for a little longer only, maybe 1h max and then it lags and gets stuck and I cant do anything. I really dont want to restore everything, but maybe thats my only solution? I would appreciate any help.
I also lost my cd for the motherboard.. and I have no idea how to find all drivers I need for it, so any help there would be nice too..

More info about my crappy computer:
AMD Athlon 2400+
512MB
40GB Harddisk
GeForce FX 5200

Here are a couple fixes that you can try first. 1 clean all the dust bunnies out of your computer. A high amount of dust build-up on the heatsinks of various components can cause overheating which will cause other problems. A clean computer = a happy computer. 2 run disc defragmentor and checkdisc (called Error checking in XP). These 2 can root out any issues of disc problems. 3 run a good Adware and Spyware removal utility. I recomend both Spy-BotSearch and Destroy and Ad-Aware. 4 One last thing that you can do is to upgrade to 1 gig of main system ram (2 gigs is better but not necessary if you do not have the money). Doing this gives windows and your games more "elbow room". It pretty much keeps the system from accessing "virtual memory" which is on the hard drive and is quite slow. Also it is a cheep speed boost.
As far as your video card goes it is still good enough until you decide to get a new system based on the newest technology, so just keep it unless you realy want to upgrade.

Hope these help out
