Talking video card ?'s

i currently have a GeForce 6200, bought it for around 150$ a way's back. i was wondering if there are any better ones out now for less than 100$. i found this card at circuit city.

would that be a significant upgrade?
also, would i have to buy a better power supply? i'm not sure what kind i have now. thanks

oh this is officially what i have now. found it at best buy.

What graphics slot do you have on your motherboard? That 6200 you linked to is AGP whereas the 7300 you also linked to is PCI-e.

The 7300SE, LE, and GS are all going to be practically the same speed as your current card. The 7300GT is a completely different beast and runs like a 7600GS.

You can get an nvidia 7600GS or ATI 1600 Pro for just a bit over $100, very good cards.

If you want to stick under $100 you can get a 6600 or x700 which were both decent cards last generation. PriceWatch is worth checking out.

It means if you buy a PCIexpress card it won't fit and you'll have to take it back to the store and exchange it for one that fits in an AGP slot

remember, when changing your video card, and your not really sure about the PCI express and AGP issues, its a safe bet to take your old video card with you to the store,
