Default Flickering black screen when playing

Ok so it's not a big problem, but when I'm playing GW, every once in a while (sometimes 3 minutes sometimes 10 seconds intervals) the screen flickers black for a second and then goes back to normal... I haven't had this problem with any other programs (I don't play any other big games so it could be a general problem)

Any idea on the problem and any fixing other than buying new things (I'm 15k in debt already and I have about 400$ to live on for 4 months so yeah... not exactly rich here)

This type of problem is normaly associated with your graphics card and specificaly the drivers for it. Update your video cards driver first and see if that fixed the problem.
Next reset your monitors refresh rate. To do this open the display properties for your computer by right clicking on an empty spoton your desktop. Then choose settings. Next click advanced at the bottom.the next part is specific to your video card manufactuer but the tab you are looking for says Monitor. Now choose a lower setting for the monitor settings somewhere in the vicinity of 60-75 hertz. Anything over that is not realy useful as it can be out of range of the monitors native refresh rate. Try GW and seee if it is fixed.
Next look for the trouble shooting tab in the same area as i explained where the refresh rate is, if the first doesn't fix the problem. Turn down Hardware Acceleration one notch and again try GW.
One last thing to try is to redetect your monitor. As I am on a laptop and I cannot remember how to do that I am asking for help. but that shouldn't be the problem hopefully. Hope one of the above fixes your problems.
