SP 2 problems
i have service pack 1, and bought this new card sound card that needs SP 2, so i tried downloading SP 2 from microsoft's website, and all was going well (i had downloaded the thing, and i was half way into installing it), when all of a sudden my pc froze and i had to reboot it manually. after this blue screen came up saying that SP 2 was not fully installed and that i should remove it immiediately. so i did, and it restored itself back to SP 1. my question is, are there any ways to make my pc install SP 2 w/o any problems? thanks

Make sure you disable any security / firewall / anti-spam / anti-virus software before you start the install.
Disable any other program that you can that's running in the back ground as well. |
