Default Multi Monitors

Can Guildwars Nightfall be played using two monitors? I would like to drag several smaller windows to my other monitor, which is set up to be used as an extended desktop.

Please help I just bought the game yesterday

Thanks

Well, myself I tried this and I could only run that kind of setup when I wasn't in fullscreen mode.

Nah doesnt work well, the in game resolution setting is limiting the "display size", i just tried and it just slows the game down, while u hold the same format.

I run two monitors, one a 21" flat LCD for gaming on and a 17" CRT for desktop, just have your GW windowed and you shouldn't have any problems as long as you have a system that can handle it. I don't have any problems running the game and always have guru open on my secondary screen while I'm playing and don't experience any game problems and thats with an Nvidia 6200oc graphics card.

I use 2 19" LCDs and a GeForce 7600GT 256mb card, but otherwise, my experience is the same as Mr. Greenjeans.

yeah, u can have indeed alternative programs open on the second screen, that poses no problem at all. I have maps, hints, or TS/Ventrilo open on that one. But GW itself on two windows is just not working. Maybe I interpret your question wrongly. The above two messages are fully correct.

I run two monitors in much the same way as some of the previous posters.

I often have Guru open on my second monitor, and it is invaluable to have a map open on your second monitor when seeking out that last 0.2% for Grandmaster Cartographer :-)

If the original poster is asking if he can drag some of the smaller Guild Wars game windows to the second monitor (for example the Party window, or the Mini-map etc) then no, this is not possible.

What a cool idea that would be though!
