Hello,

I just recently bought Nightfall and oddly enough when I try to create a paragon my computer freezes up and eventually crashes. I tried reinstalling GW with the Nightfall DVD but it only allowed me to go so far as chose face, hairstyle and then when i changed hair color my computer crashed.
There is no problem with any other classes, female or male. I have yet to try Paragon female but I still want to be able to create paragon males.

When my computer freezes up it does it in intervalls, my music first begins lagging and then begins playing as it should, i can move my mouse again but I still cant really do anything. I can't press ctrl+alt+del, alt+tab or alt+f4, closing guildwars with the X wont work cause I can't click anything.

had the same problem with creating a female ranger in nf..

had to uninstall game. remove gpu driver with driver cleaner.
defrag disk, installl newest gpu (97.92 for nvidia, no idea for ati) driver and reinstalled game from scratch and let it run with -image switch...

game stilll lags but atleast i can make any chars i want now...:P

(ps! i got an nvidia 8800 gts and a top pc)

I can only think in two things: Corruption on your hard disk and/or GW files, or some kind of incompatibility of your PC with particular texture or something else.

BTW, IMO the best way to reinstall GW is uninstalling/deleting everything and download the client (a very small file) from the official GW website.

Weird... these problems are hard to solve. The myriad of software drivers could be causing the problem.

Hahaha my pc is way older than all of yours... And runs Gw's perfectly.
