I'm so glad I'm 6 months to 1 year away from building a new pc.
These are some very nice prices. Intel is being rather aggressive this round. That and the newer chipsets (the new intel and the new nvidia) that feature the revised Pci express standard as well as some newer stuff will be maturing by then. I do think this is happening because both AMD & Intel are trying to get to 4x core cpu systems and there enhancing / unlocking the potential (which is much easier to do) with the existing tech before they max it design out.
