If i wanna play gw on a pc without the gw cd, what is the fastest way to download it?

Is this

http://btjunkie.org/torrent?do=stat&... f45bd11f518af

the right torrent for the basic files? I have factions... so what part of gw am I downloading with this torrent and will it work?

Thanks in advance.

Just download the client off the GW website

*groans* im not an idiot. the reason i'm asking is because downloading from 60 people is probably more effective (and thus faster) than just downloading it from gw. thanks for your help

downloading from anet is probably faster. 60 seeds or not, torrents usually do not break into the 200kb/s range, which the game client routinely does.

The torrent you linked to only contains the disk images. Get it from ANet as it'll be a ton faster.

...and how do you know that those 60 people aren't limiting their uploads?

I have to agree with this. I wouldn't bother with a torrent.

What Milkflopance means is the game cd is the original game, not the current one you can download from ArenaNet.

If you use the cd image, you will still need to wait through a horrendous update download as soon as you open the program.
