Default HELP FAST PLEASE! Hardware Problems

i bought a new gfx card x1950pro and also had to buy a new power supply unit to pull the gfx

so i bought this Xion 2.0 600w PSU
installed and everything worked fine, later when i returned home in the evening, i clicked the startup button, the back light came on, the fans started but only for a fraction of a second! and then turned off!!! and wouldnt repeat again!

everytime a new power source is added

i cheked the leads everything worked fine, i put in my old psu unit and it works

i even used a different PC and installed my new PSU on it to try but the same thing happens...

Assuming you have everything connected properly, it sounds like your PSU is garbage. Who makes Xion anyway? Was it a cheap PSU? DO NOT buy cheap PSUs. PC Power & Cooling, Antec, Seasonic, Enermax, Sparkle, OCZ, Hiper and several other brands are recommended. I've never heard of Xion.

EDIT:
Upon a few minutes of research, it looks like your PSU may be made by Deer unless it's part of their PowerReal line. Deer are junk. Sorry, my friend. I'd try to return the PSU and get a better one.

Also check the switch on the back of the PSU and make sure it's set to the proper voltage for your country (which is...?).

Dump that PSU and get a decent one! Myself, I use the Hiper TypeR 580W but just look at the above post for the best brands you can buy.

I still say get Hiper by the way!.
