Default Screen locks while loading map.

Around the 15th map load while playing GW, I will not come out of the loading screen. I know everything is working still, just the image is stuck. I can alt+tab, etc.. I know it's working even though I can't see it because of certain sounds that get made. Control+ALT+Delete works, but again, all I can see is the loading screen. I am forced to reset the computer.

This only started happening recently (about a month ago), and it could of been due to the Nvidia beta drivers, as that was about the time I downloaded those. I made a report with Nvidia about it.

My setup: 2x8800GTX(sli), Evga 680i MB, 2GB corsair dominator, Vista 32-bit.

I've tried the compatability modes, etc.. I will attempt to go back to the old drivers and see if it still locks.

However, I wanted to post here to see if there was anything someone knows I could try, if perhaps this was a known issue in certain cases.

Thanks for your time.

A driver rollback sounds like the best option to me. Using beta drivers can give you problems like you describe. It was good of you to make a report to nVIDIA about the issue.

Let us know if the driver rollback doesn't solve your problem.

Agree with calderstrake on this one, though it does help to download these drivers to help them debug them before final release.
