My Guild wars won't work this morning. I have looked up this error '005' and keep seeing things about port 6112 and IP address:

I don't understand how to 'disable port triggering'. Can someone give me a complete step by step guide on how to do this. Thanks

My Guild Wars is exactly the same this morning. I don't really know much about this sort of thing so it's probably problems on the server side of things. I figure if I leave it for a little while it'll sort itself out I guess.

Default Surprise, surprise..

Yes you guessed it ; im getting Code 005 too since last night, on two accounts and two (very different) pcs. What is particularly galling is that a City of Villains account (same people?) won't connect either . Can't find any current official news so i thought i'd post and wait a day or so before contacting support. Shame 'cause i'm really into GW atm.
Router, firewall and internet connection seem fine. Thank [email protected] i've got The Lord of the Rings Online for next weekend .

I turned off my firewall and it still didn't work. I noticed when connecting the Arenanet load up bar usually fills up but GW comes on without that loading up.

Yea well if this many people are having the problem then there can't be something wrong with us, it's something wrong with them... we'll just have to wait for it to sort itself out...

Annoying though, I wanted to get me some chocolate bunnies

btw city of heroes/villains is the same people as GW

Yes all's well again (hopefully); just did The Dragon's Lair and Glint with no crashes. Glad i didn't bother reinstalling etc. Haven't tried City of Heroes yet but i'm sure it's ok.
