Internet problems
Ok i really need some help here,
I have had a Belkin wireless modem for quite a while im using 1 meg broadband. My internet is seriously awful. ITs never been great, however recently i have had to keep refreshing pages all the time keeps disconecting and is real slow. My computer has also generally been slow due to i suspect spyware which im going to sort out at the weekend. Could my bad internet connection be down to spyware. Or are there any other problems that it is likely to be ? Thanks in advance. |

Some spy/malware could be using your internet connection to spread themselves. I believe it's called zombie pc. You should also notice a drop in computer performance.
Also, since you're using wireless: Did you secure it? You could have some nasty neighbours leeching 99% of it. Give me an unsecured wifi device and I'll take over your entire network ggkthxbai. It's that simple. |

Try ad-aware and also make a password for your internet connection because your router should be able to kick off bad neighbors.
