I've never had this problem before until the new patch that had hard mode in it. It was working fine, and I logged off and downloaded the patch. I played for about an hour but there was a heavy amount of lag, even with my 2G of RAM, which I have never had before. Then it said I had a patch to download which consisted of about 5,000 files...the usual amount when you first install the game. When Guild Wars actually opened, all of my preferences had been reset. I logged in and tried to play, but after I logged onto a character and I hit the loading screen, I had 16,000 files to download. Is there any reason why Guild Wars may have reinstalled itself for no reason? I'm thinking that I need a new graphics card because my processor and RAM shouls easily meet the standards. By the way, I recently re-isntalled Windows and before the latest patch I have never had any problems such as this before. If you have any ideas or have had some of the same problems please post.

Edit: I forgot to add that while installing the 16,000 files, my computer rebooted about 3 times. I have just finished installing those files and it seems to be working, but I still have many files to load everywhere I go.

Edit: I also recently uninstalled a Trial Edition of World of Warcraft.
