Default quest for the lost loot

well, simple story goes like this....

me and my DoA veil PUG are killing the last 2 torment claws around the maw to clear ourselves for the merry old looting of the chest. I run in to wand away, game freezes. game stays frozen for 12mins. i get the not-so-merry-old connection problem msg, try to reconnect twice, each attempt takes about 6-7 mins, after 2nd attempt i am given the error 005 msg. funny thing is, i reconnected perfectly FINE at the login screen.... and thats not the end of it. i try to get onto support only to find that the UK site will not load, the US site was fine, the others were fine, just not the UK site.

oh did i mention, 3 other players in my team were also disconnected? and not just once each, 2 or 3 times each. in the end i was NOT reconnected in veil, i was put back in the gate, without my REWARD. and b4 anyone starts ranting about defraging and reinstalling etc, this is the first time this has happened to me, and since it happened to 3 other players on my team, it cannot be a problem with my computer. plz Anet, gimme my loot, or at least some kind of explanation.......

Cheers,
Viscus

Dunno what's going on over there in Europe, but the internet connections out there seem to be pretty crummy.

There's nothing that Anet can do for you to reimburse you for your lost treasures.

Since there was more than one of you that was disconnected, but no reports of a total network outage, it sounds to me like a gateway to Anet went down. Are you all subscribing to the same ISP, live in the same town, etc.?

no, i live in australia but play on the euro servers. and considering the time i was playing (about 4am) there is no possibility of my ISP being jammed up with traffic. i asked around, it happened to quite a lot of ppl...
