Post which system is best?

well im building a new gaming system and was just wondering which is the best settup for me 2 get. Heres a list of possible specs:

Option 1:
c2d 6420
Radeon x1950 pro
2gb g.skill ram (ddr2-800)
gigabyte ds3 mobo (rev 3.3)

Option 2:
c2d 4300
Geforce 8800gts 320mb
2gb g.skill ram (ddr2-800)
gigabyte ds3 mobo (rev 3.3)

which will be better to get in the long run? and for games like bf 2142, doom3 and c&c3 which will have higher fps? Thnx

I like the second one more... especially if you're overclocking.

Make option 2 an E6300 and your set.

The E4300 would actually be a better option if you intend to overclock with a board which does not have good FSB walls, higher multi = better overclock with less FSB. Either way I would go with option #2. Also, do yourself a favor and get a good PSU.

Raidmax PSU's are garbage, please please do not trust it with your system. Go with something quality, and look past the wattage. Look at the amperage and its placement along the rails of the PSU.

The Silverstone looks nicer to me. They typically make fairly good products and the specs look pretty decent.
