Default 2 Accounts 1 comp

I have a question, Can I have 2 GWs Clients running at the same time? I want to beable to transfer stuff from my Pre char to my post without going to post. So I was just wondering if I could have 2 accounts going at the same time on 1 comp.

Actually you can, but I believe it's against the EULA.

There's no way to transfer stuff from pre to post (unless you bring your pre char into post).. even with 2 comps. Pre cannot access xunlai storage, nor your guild's guild hall. The only way to do it is to bring your char to post. They did this on purpose because they don't want items from post going into pre... even though it's the other way around you wanted to do... just thought u might want to know

You can create another char on a second account in pre, transfer the stuff from the first pre-char to the second one, bring the second char to post and transfer back to yet another (post) char on the first account.

And yes, there are ways to have two accounts running on one computer. There is this big How-to thread in this very forum. It involve either running a third party application or tinkering about with your gw.exe, so you want to be cautious with what you're doing there. As mentioned, it is most likely a breach of the EULA, but Anet seems to tolerate this, so far.

I run two accounts reguarly with that 3rd party program and have never had any problems.

ANet neither condones nor condemns doing it - I'm fairly sure that's a Gaile quote.

Ignore the people speaking out, yet not knowing the truth!

You can. I'm wondering if I should tell u, since recently you asked about programming key on a G-11... hmmm ok.

Two choices, use the search function for "[Tutorial] Running 2 copies of Guild Wars"

Or click on the mystery link bleow!

Bewarned, it takes alot out of your PC, and places a lot of stree on it aswell.
And after a update you have to fiddle with your folders.
