patience is a virtue, give us a little bit more than 15 minutes ok?

Now, had you bothered to actually give a quick check on the official site, you would have found the following page

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Running_the_game

Other than not knowing what you have for a video coard (but assuming it's pci express), yes, you easily meet the requirements.

Your spec are fine even with that onboard graphic. But to make the most out of GW at highest setting and such, you will need a real graphic card, have a look at both nvidia series 8 cards and some new range from ATI.

Buy a new mobo and a new GPU just to play GW on high?! lol waste of money. Would be cheaper to buy a whole new system.

New mobo? not really just a new graphic card will do, infact the one he has now I'm guessing is one of the n-force board which is fine for gw. Then again he might want to play some other new games as well and the onboard card might not be enough.

We never reached closure on that issue. But, since this is a different system, results will vary.

The thing to key in on is that integrated graphics. It's nVidia based, which is good, but it's going to be a big performance bottle neck for you.

From a review of the the system in question:

If you're not a gamer, then this PC has everything you need. If you are a gamer, all you have to do is upgrade the video card and you're all set.

I have to agree with that assessment.

Hell, bar the CPU being the model above mine and not having a dedicated GPU, your PC is on par with mine and I get 100ish FPS's nearly everywhere but in a heavy GvG

So yeah, no issues, just make sure you have all the latest drivers

If you're still nervous about its performance, download the GW client from the website. Its free. You won't actually be able to log in until you've purchased an account, but you'll be able to see the login screen, which has a full rendering in the game's engine as the background. Its not a completely realistic test without other players and internet latency and etc., but it should give you a broad, general idea how the game itself will run on your system. You can hit F11 at that screen to mess with graphics/sound options as well.

However, your PC should run it without any trouble whatsoever. The only potential issue might be your video hardware, and I doubt you're gonna be able to run it at full graphics + antialiasing and such. It should run just fine though.

That's the difference between a good dedicated video card and a shared video card. Even on a lower system, you can get high fps with a dedicated video card. On a better system with a shared video card, you'll probably get up to 30 fps but that's about it.
